Displayed in the venue are at least 30,000 publications of more than 20,000 kinds published in the DPRK and other countries including works of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.

The exhibition is divided into wings of various publishing houses and distribution.

On display in the wing of the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House are "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works", the President's reminiscences "With the Century" and short biographies and biographies dealing with the revolutionary careers of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu and their leadership feats, books on their greatness such as "Among the People" and socio- political books.

Various other publishing houses showcase books telling about the feats of the peerlessly great persons, different kinds of teaching materials and reference books, magazines dealing with knowledge and common senses in different fields, dictionaries and picture albums.

Displayed in the wing of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan are books, magazines and textbooks dealing with the feats the great men performed by contributing to the strengthening and development of the movement of Koreans in Japan, and imbuing them with patriotism and the love for the nation.

On display in the wing of distribution are works published in different countries and books dealing with the personalities of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu as great persons and the achievements made by the DPRK in socialist construction.

This day witnessed an opening of a national fine art exhibition and state industrial art exhibition.

Displayed in the exhibition are at least 500 pieces of paintings such as Korean paintings, oil paintings, gem-powdered paintings and posters.

On display in the exhibition in chronological order are more than 1,700 designs and materials of various kinds created in the field of industrial art since the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

On display are over 1,000 designs and goods of diverse kinds created by the Korean Industrial Art Studio, provincial industrial art studios, industrial art creation groups of ministries and national institutions and teachers and students of Pyongyang University of Fine Arts and fine art lovers.
