Grand Banquet Given by WPK Central Military Commission and DPRK NDC

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK National Defence Commission gave a grand banquet at the Mokran House on Monday evening on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

Present there were leading officials of the party, state and army, officials of the C.C., and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the NDC, commanding officers of the large combined units of the Korean People's Army, members of the party central leadership organ in Pyongyang, members of the Cabinet and officials in the fields of literature and art and the press.

A performance was given by the artistes of the Wangjaesan Art Troupe at the banquet.
