Sino-DPRK Friendship Will Be in Fuller Bloom: Head of Chinese Delegation
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- Major General Qian Lihua, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defense, who is heading the visiting delegation of diplomatic officials of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, referred to the relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and China now growing stronger as the days go by.

The delegation came to the DPRK to bring into fuller bloom the Sino-DPRK friendship, the head said, and went on:

The two countries are the friendly neighbors connected by the same mountain and rivers.

President Kim Il Sung, together with Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai, provided the Sino-DPRK friendship and cultivated it.

The friendship, a legacy bequeathed by the revolutionaries of the elder generation, is a treasure common to the peoples of the two countries.

The party and army of China attach the greatest importance to the relations of friendship with those in the DPRK.

History goes to prove that the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries is in conformity with the desire and interests of the two armies and peoples and is beneficial for peace, stability and prosperity of the region and the rest of the world.

The top leaders of the two countries are further developing the Sino-DPRK friendly relations.

The flower garden of the Sino-DPRK friendship with long-standing history and tradition will be in fuller bloom.
