Construction of Setups in Reclaimed Taegyedo Tideland Completed
Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The construction of setups in the reclaimed Taegyedo tideland was successfully finished in the DPRK.

This is a gift presented to the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung and the 4th Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials and builders of the Tideland Reclamation Complex in North Phyongan Province wound up the construction of huge setups by displaying indomitable mental power.

It was a Herculean task for using more than 1,881,800 cubic meters of earth and at least 685,400 cubic meters of cobble stones for building embankments.

Through their high-pitched labor drive, the builders completed river embankments and intermediary dykes as planned and the construction of different kinds of structures, stonework of more than 342,700 square meters and the work for turfing dykes.

The completion of the above-said project made it possible to do stable farming, fish breeding and aqua culture in the cultivated land equal to an area of a county.
