National Oratorical Meeting Commemorates Day of Sun
Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- A national oratorical meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Friday in commemoration of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

The speakers told in excited tones about the great fortune of the army and people of the DPRK who are blessed with the peerlessly great leaders generation after generation while always holding in high esteem them who performed undying feats for the era, the revolution, the country and the people.

In an oratory titled "Blessed with the sun", Ryang Chun Sik, worker at the Tongdaewon Unha Garment Factory, said how much the Korean people are blessed with great leaders.

Ri Ok Sil in Anhwa-dong in Rason City, in her oratory "Great man and song", noted that the Unhasu concert arranged by the dear respected Kim Jong Un on the International Women's Day demonstrated the tradition of the Korean revolution wining victory advancing with song and firm spirit of the country with song.

In oratories "Eternal Whistle" and "Love Flows", Nam Chun Bin, chairman of the primary committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea of Pyongyang Railway Station, and An Thae Hwa, lecturer of the Central Information and Communications Centre Committee of the Federation, said:

The President and leader Kim Jong Il were, indeed, the supreme incarnation of largesse as they lavished the people with all sorts of loving care and benevolence.

Kim Yong Hui, official of Pyongyang Vaccine Factory, and Kim Kwang Guk, student of Wonsan Jo Kun Sil University of Technology, in oratories "Family of Mangyongdae blessed with much work" and "The history of comradeship" told emotional stories about the noble personalities of the great persons of Mt. Paektu.

Attending the meeting were Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok and officials of ministries, national institutions and those in the city of Pyongyang.
