Commemorative Stamps Issued in DPRK
Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau has recently issued stamps (a sheetlet, a sheet and an individual stamp) in commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Seen in the upper parts of the stamps are letters "On 100th Birth Anniversary of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung", "Juche 1 (1912)-Juche 101 (2012)", "April 15" and "Day of the Sun".

Printed on the sheetlet carrying a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung are art pieces showing the President and Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, among children of revolutionary school and the President among people.

The sheet contains images of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Suk standing in front of the President's old home in Mangyongdae with smile on their faces in a spring day.

Seen in individual stamp are the President's old home in Mangyongdae and letters "100th Anniversary" against the background of Kimilsungia and magnolia, national flower of the DPRK.

The commemorative stamps stress that Kim Il Sung was tender-hearted father and the eternal sun of Juche as he devoted all his life to the happiness of the people and laid solid foundations for the building of a thriving nation.

The third part of serial commemorative stamps (three sheetlets, a sheet and seven individual stamps) representing the revolutionary exploits of the President were produced on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, his birth anniversary.
