Kim Il Sung Remembered in China
Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting for remembering President Kim Il Sung was held in China on April 3.

Present there were Li Zade, Korean anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter in China, and his family, families of Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and other Chinese people related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the DPRK ambassador to China and staff members of his embassy.

The participants laid floral baskets before portraits of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.

Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Zhang Weihua, Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, said that the President's was the brilliant life of a great man, adding he was not only the distinguished leader of the Korean people but the pioneer of the Sino-DPRK friendship.

Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhong, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, noted that it is her duty to contribute to boosting the Sino-DPRK friendship as one who was honored to be received by the three commanders of Mt. Paektu of the DPRK.

Daughters of Shang Yue and Feng Zhongyun, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, recalled with deep emotion the deep loving care shown by the President for them.

They vowed to value the friendship between the two countries and make every possible effort to glorify it generation after generation.
