S. Korean Police Suppress Demonstrators against Naval Base

| Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- The puppet police of south Korea on Sunday walked away members of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic and social organizations who were staging demonstrations on Jeju Island against the construction of a naval base, according to KBS of south Korea. The riot police went on the rampage, throwing tear liquid to demonstrators who attempted to enter the construction site. |
