A spokesman for the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea in a statement made public Tuesday said the case of illegal investigation into civilians was a hideous abuse of human rights committed by the Lee Myung Bak regime in an organized manner in collusion with the ruling party to all intents and purposes.

Since its seizure of power, the group has conducted a political investigation into people of all circles in a bid to maintain its "power". They included not only progressive pro-reunification movement organizations but also lawmakers, heads of public bodies appointed during the former regimes, the managers of major media, business persons and even ministers and vice-ministers.

The authorities' policy of intelligence gathering and plot breeding was enforced and human rights abuses were perpetrated with the backing of the group of the ruling party.

This group including Park Geun Hye has zealously cooperated in hiding the Lee group's above-said case.

After systematically receiving records of investigation from the authorities, this group used them for slandering and attacking political rivals and opposition parties. It did not hesitate to perpetrate such dastardly act as wiretapping even the room of a representative of an opposition party inside the building of "the National Assembly."

Successive former military fascist dictators also pursued policies of hatching plots including illegal investigation into civilians, but it is the first time that Chongwadae, repressive machine and the ruling party enforced an indiscriminate intelligence policy in collusion with one another just as the Lee-Park group did.

Much upset by the growing voices demanding the judgment of the Lee regime and the "Saenuri Party" in the wake of the disclosure of the above-said case, the group of traitors insisted that most of the disclosed documents on the illegal investigation date back to the period of the former regime in a desperate bid to calm down the uproar caused by it, the statement noted, and continued:

Park Geun Hye and her party are running the whole gamut of sleight of hand in an effort to evade the responsibility for the case, claiming that "Chongwadae" should be held responsible for it and they are also its "victim".

As far as the illegal political investigation is concerned, this dates back to the period of the yusin dictatorial regime of Park Chung- Hee, the father of Park Geun Hye.

Park Geun Hye, the daughter of the yusin dictator, and the "Saenuri Party", the group of the remnants of yusin, as well as Lee deserve punishment for being the masterminds of the case.

It is ridiculous, indeed, for the Lee-Park clan to kick up an anti-DPRK row over someone's "human rights" while wantonly abusing human rights by committing such unethical act stunning the world as the above-said case.

It is as clear as daylight that if the "National Assembly" and the regime are dominated by this group of traitors again, south Korea will turn into more horrible tundra of human rights and a dark fascist society.
