S. Korean People Call for Waging Action to Oust Traitor Lee Myung Bak
Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The sit-in group to cope with the emergency situation for peace against war of south Korea held a meeting on March 31 calling for the ousting of traitor Lee Myung Bak who violated democracy through illegal investigation of civilians and increased the danger of a war through hostile policy toward the compatriots in the north.

Present there were veterans of pro-reunification movement, youth and students and people from all walks of life including judicial, media and medical fields.

Speakers at the meeting denounced the present regime for having engrossed in the treacherous policy, corruption and irregularities and illegal investigation of civilians.

They called for judging Lee Myung Bak at any cost at the upcoming general election and forcing him to step down.

In order to curb military tension from escalating and danger of a war mounting between the south and the north, it is necessary to prevent the present regime and the "Saenuri Party" from coming to power, they said.

A joint declaration was read out at the meeting.

The confrontation policy pursued by the Lee "government" steadily getting on the nerves of the north has stoked the danger of war, the declaration said, adding that they will not remain a passive onlooker to it.

The present regime forsaken by the public is now finding itself in an unfavorable position ahead of the general election. So it is working hard to fabricate "north wind" to tide over the overall crisis, it stressed.

The recent disclosure of illegal investigation was indicative of the serious abuses of the rights of the people, the declaration said, adding that the Lee "government' should be forced to immediately step down as it discriminately investigated civilians.

All the people should turn out in the streets holding candle lights, it noted, calling for staging the action at the plaza of Seoul City Office on April 7 to judge Lee Myung Bak, arch criminal harassing the peace.
