Study of Reminiscences Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The book "Reminiscences of Anti-Japanese Guerrillas" was awarded People's Prize in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Its first volume was issued in May Juche 48 (1959).

The book is of great significance in imbuing the local people with the Paektu spirit, displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters during the Japanese colonial rule over Korea.

With this spirit the guerrillas devotedly defended President Kim Il Sung, the center of unity and leadership, and defeated the Japanese imperialist aggressors to liberate the country.

The book deals with the undying feats the President performed while leading the anti-Japanese war to victory as well as the heroic struggle of the guerillas for national liberation.

The Korean people carry on the study of reminiscences through readings, seminars and film shows.

Many reminiscences were filmized, including "Comrades! Please Take This Pistol", "Fighter on Mt. Chonbo" and "Story of An Sun Hwa".

The study makes servicepersons and civilians harden their determination to defend the dear respected Kim Jong Un devotedly, following the example of the anti-Japanese guerillas in defending Kim Il Sung.
