Women's Union Members Hold Oratorical Contest

| Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- An oratorical contest was staged here on Tuesday by members of the women's union to remain faithful to the Songun revolutionary leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of election of leader Kim Jong Il as chairman of the National Defence Commission. The performers praised Kim Jong Il for providing the eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of its people while spending all his life in the forefront of revolution and performing the undying feats for the era and history. Kim Jong Il was the symbol of the dignity and mightiness of Songun Korea, they stressed. They also spoke highly of the comradeship of Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un who calls all service personnel and people his comrades-in-arms. The future of Korea and the rising generations to come is rosy as there is Kim Jong Un, they said. |
