S. Korean Paper Calls for Impeaching "Government" for Illegal Inspection of Civilians
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- South Korean newspaper Hangyore carried an editorial titled "Lee Myung Bak government deserves 'political impeachment' for illegal inspection of civilians" on March 31.

More than 2 600 documents have been recently disclosed one after another. They deal with the illegal inspection of civilians which the room for supporting ethics of public officials under the Office of the "Prime Minister" committed from 2008 to 2010, the editorial said, and went on:

This revealed the sordid nature of the Lee Myung Bak regime.

It dug up the private life of lawmakers, mediapersons, big businesses, trade union members and others at random.

Through this the present regime put media under its control, dismissed officials whom it was displeased with and distressed civilians who were irrelevant to public office.

Public employees under the Office who were involved in the above-said inspection served as hounds moving at the beck and call of those in power. The prosecution was a safeguard of the "power" engrossed in covering up its crime and going into hiding, far from observing law and justice.

There is an ample reason for the present regime to make an apology before the civilians and request for impeachment but no one claims responsibility and everybody is busy evading it.
