Rodong Sinmun on S. Korean Authorities' Unpopular Economic Policy
Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a by-lined article discloses the deceptive nature of traitor Lee Myung Bak who took office with a commitment to "economic recovery".

The Lee Myung Bak group's economic policy is nothing but the one of treachery as it has left the south Korean economy to the tender mercy of outside forces lock, stock and barrel, the article says, and goes on:

Traitor Lee who has neither clear political philosophy nor his own view accepted U.S.-style "neo-liberalism", talking about what he called "pragmatism".

Fully taken to sycophancy towards the U.S., Lee has made the south Korean economy increasingly dependent on the U.S.

His policy of "economic recovery" ended up ruining economy as it caused bankruptcy of finance, monetary confusion and sky-rocketing commodity prices.

The south Korean ruling forces offered big businesses all kinds of privileges such as the easing of regulations and tax reduction and exemption while turning their faces away from the daily deteriorating people's living.

The pro-big business policy pursued by Lee since he came to power caused small and medium enterprises which account for the majority of all enterprises in south Korea go bankrupt en masse, rapidly increasing the number of unemployed people.

The south Korean conservative authorities' above-said economic policy has thrown the people into dire destitution.

The south Korean people keenly realized over the last four years how unpopular Lee's economic policy is.
