DPRK Planned Launch of Satellite Supported
Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- The Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association on Monday released a statement to support the DPRK planned launch of satellite.

The DPRK has a legitimate right to launch satellites for peaceful purposes, the statement said, and continued:

The DPRK has made positive efforts to realize the nuclear disarmament in the whole of Korea through dialogue and ensure peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

The association congratulates the Koreans on manufacturing satellite Kwangmyongsong-3 with the use of cutting edge science and technology.

We urge the western countries to acknowledge the DPRK's rights to the development of the space science and technology for peaceful purposes, and halt their far-fetched accusation.

Basanta Kumar Shrestha, chairman of the International Committee for the Study of Songun Politics for Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Nepal, and its vice-chairman in a joint statement on Mar. 25 expressed worries about the vicious provocations by some western forces against the DPRK's plan for peaceful and legitimate satellite launch.

They voiced their conviction that the positive efforts of the DPRK to launch a satellite would contribute to boosting the general development ability of the country.
