DPRK's Space Policy Hailed
Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Foreign personages made public statements on March 21 and 22 in support of the DPRK's projected launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania pointed out that the launch of Kwangmyongsong-3 is part of scientific researches aimed at developing and using working satellites helpful to the economic development of the DPRK in line with its policy to use space for peaceful purposes.

He said he is joining progressive mankind in supporting the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea and the scientists' efforts to develop space technology and expressed belief that the DPRK's efforts to develop space would make an important contribution to ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

The chairperson of the Malaysian Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of the Birth of President Kim Il Sung said the launch of Kwangmyongsong-3 manufactured by the DPRK by its own efforts with indigenous technology would offer it an opportunity of demonstrating before the whole world that it proudly ranked itself among space powers.

The DPRK's satellite launch is an issue pertaining to the sovereignty of the Korean people and it is a legitimate right of every country to use outer space for peaceful purposes, the chairperson said.

The chairman of the Nider Sachsen State Committee of the Communist Party of Germany expressed the expectation that the DPRK would surely succeed in the satellite launch, noting that the successful launch of Kwangmyongsong-3 would help towards the use of space for peaceful purposes, peace and stability of the world and scientific and technological development.
