Memorial Service for Kim Jong Il Held in Russia on 100th Day Since His Demise
Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The United Confederation of Koreans in Far East of Russia held a memorial service for General Secretary Kim Jong Il in Nakhodka City on Saturday on the 100th day since his demise.

Placed before the portrait of Kim Jong Il hung on the front wall of the venue of the memorial service were a wreath in the name of the confederation and bouquets.

The participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il in humblest reverence.

They watched video "Korea says in bitter tears".

The vice-chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation said that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a nuclear weapons state and satellite producer and launcher which no one can dare provoke, adding that the exploits performed by him would be conveyed down to posterity.

The chairman of the Korean Autonomous Society for National Culture in Nakhodka said that Kim Jong Il devoted his all to the country and its people and the nation, traversing rugged paths without having any good rest.

The vice-chairman of the Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia said that the greatest exploit of Kim Jong Il was that he successfully solved the issue of the continuity of the revolutionary cause.
