Kim Hyong Jik's Exploits Posted on Internet Homepage in Guinea
Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The Guinean Press Association posted on Mar. 20 an article "The Historic Road at Dawn" on its Internet homepage to mark the 95th anniversary of the Korean National Association (KNA).

March 23 this year marked the 95th anniversary of the KNA formed by Kim Hyong Jik, outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, the article said, and went on:

The undying exploits performed by him in the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea are always remembered by the Korean people.

The idea of "Jiwon" (aim high) reflected the spirit of national independence, indomitable revolutionary spirit and the idea that the Koreans should achieve the independence of the country by their own efforts, struggling generation after generation.

Kim Hyong Jik formed the KNA, the biggest anti-Japanese underground revolutionary organization strongest in the anti-imperialist independent stand at that time, on Mar. 23 1917.

Even though he died so early, he left noble legacies behind him. They were the ideas of aiming high, getting ready for three contingencies (death from hunger, death from a beating and death from the cold) and recruiting comrades and a pair of pistols.

President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il inherited the idea of "Jiwon", translating the desire of Kim Hyong Jik into a brilliant reality, concluded the article.
