Halt to Anti-DPRK Confrontation Racket Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress in south Korea Friday called a press conference in Seoul denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for kicking up fresh "north wind" through a confrontation racket against the DPRK.

A press release was read out at the conference. Recalling that the inter-Korean relations have been put on the lowest ebb since Lee Myung Bak came to power, the press release noted that his group has become evermore undisguised in its moves to cook up the "north wind" in the run-up to the general election, arousing great concern.

The authorities are hosting the "nuclear security summit" in Seoul, timed to coincide with large-scale joint military exercises on islands in the West Sea of Korea and in the waters around them on the occasion of the day the "Cheonan" warship was allegedly sunk in a bid to tone down the anti-"government" criticism, the press release said, adding:

Successive dictatorial regimes raised the "north wind" in the above-said manner with elections at hand.

It urged the "government" to stop trumpeting about the "north wind" and military provocations and work hard for restoring mutual confidence.
