39,900 Gifts to Kim Jong Il from 170 Odd Countries
Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received more than 39,900 gifts from 170 odd countries, according to data available.

Among those presenters were party and state leaders and personages of different circles, who praised him as a peerlessly great man, the sun of mankind and great brilliant Songun commander for his enormous contribution to the Korean revolution and global independence.

The gifts include craftworks, embroideries, ivories, silk banners, flower vases and oil paintings showing culture and customs of different nations.

In August 2011 when he visited Russia and China, Kim Jong Il received a large number of gifts from the president and personages of Russia and Chinese party and government leaders. Among those gifts are dagger, etching, bronze sculpture, jewel painting and porcelain and wooden crafts, which carried their sincerity and reverence for him.

The world people's reverence for him has grown deeper after his demise.

Lots of gifts came to him from various countries. Among them is "Natural Stone Flowers" from the manager of a Chinese company. The flowers resemble Kimjongilia and azalea.

There are also picture "Kimjongilia" from China and crystal ware "Horse" from Kuwait.
