Sri Lanka Stages Protest against West Backed Human Rights Resolution

| Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- More than 2 000 protesters marched towards the British High Commission in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Tuesday condemning the Western countries backed resolution scheduled to be taken up at this week's UN Human Rights Council sessions in Geneva. Pro-government protesters marched up to the British High Commission and urged its former colonial ruler not to support the proposed resolution demanding to probe alleged war crimes and human rights violations. |
