1.7 Million Visit Ponghwa Revolutionary Site in New Century
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The Ponghwa Revolutionary Site in Kangdong County, Pyongyang is visited by an endless stream of servicepersons and people of the DPRK on the 95th anniversary of the Korean National Association formed by Kim Hyong Jik, an indomitable revolutionary fighter.

Kim Hyong Jik stayed there from the middle of March 1916 to November 1917, leading the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle.

There are his statue, Myongsin School, ground for morning exercises, Rock Floor, the Monument to Pisok-gye, the Maekjon Ferry, etc.

More than 1.7 million servicepersons, people from all walks of life and schoolchildren have visited the site in the new century.

Visitors looked back on the revolutionary life and exploits of Kim Hyong Jik while looking round different places of the site.
