Birth Anniversary of Kim Il Sung Marked in Finland
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations of Finland held a joint meeting on March 13 to commemorate the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

On display in the venue were books and photos of the achievements made by the DPRK in socialist construction.

Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, in a speech said that Kim Il Sung was a rare statesman and distinguished state leader who ushered in a new Juche era and developed the DPRK into an independent socialist state.

Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea and successfully embodied it to make the Korean people strong in the sense of independence, the chairman noted, and went on:

"The President's revolutionary idea has been successfully carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The friends of Koreans in Finland sincerely wish the Korean people greater achievements in the building of a powerful country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un."

Kalevi Wahrman, chairman of the Finnish Communists' League, said that the feats performed by Kim Il Sung will always remain in their hearts, adding that they will remain unchanged in expressing support and solidarity with the Korean people in their just cause.

Hannu Harju, chairman of the Communist Workers' Party of Finland for the Peace and Socialism, praised the exploits of Kim Il Sung.

The chairman went on to say:

"Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a military power with his Songun leadership. We absolutely support the Songun politics of the DPRK.

The DPRK will as ever win a victory after another thanks to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un."

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
