New Documentaries Produced in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- Parts 2 and 3 of documentaries "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will be immortal" were produced in the DPRK.

Part 2 "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of the nation" shows overseas Koreans and south Koreans in grief over his demise.

A memorial service of Koreans in Japan took place solemnly in Japan and memorial services in Osaka and all other prefectural headquarters.

During the mourning days Choson Sinbo and other publications of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) conveyed in detail the undying feats he performed, reflecting the grief of the fellow countrymen.

Koreans in China visited mourning stations at the DPRK embassy, the consulate general and other places in China and expressed profound sorrow, looking back on the footsteps left by him in different parts of China.

Koreans in Russia visited the mourning stations at the DPRK embassy in Moscow and the DPRK consulate general in Nakhodka and deeply grieved over his demise.

Koreans in Uzbekistan, Germany and other countries expressed deep condolences over his demise. Koreans in the U.S. also expressed condolences.

During the mourning days overseas Koreans came to the homeland to visit his bier. Many letters and messages of condolences were sent by overseas compatriots organizations and compatriots.

Incense-burning altars were set up in different parts of south Korea. South Koreans waged a struggle to visit his bier and many reunification movement organizations, civic and public organizations and religious organizations released mourning statements and sent messages of condolences. Media devoted space and programs to conveying news of mourning events.

A total of more than 120 000 articles mourning his demise were posted on Internet sites in one hour after the sad news was reported.

Hwang Hye Ro, co-representative of the Korea Solidarity for Independent Reunification and Democracy, Ri Hui Ho, widow of former south Korean President Kim Dae Jung, Hyon Jong Un, chairwoman of Hyundai Group, and their parties and the mourners group of the World Peace Federation led by President Moon Hyung Jin visited Pyongyang.

Part 3 "The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of mankind" deals with historic facts that hundreds of millions of people in the world mourned his demise in the humblest reverence.

More than 3 000 messages of condolences were sent by party, state and government heads, political parties, public organizations and high-ranking officials of political, public, military and economic circles of more than 120 countries and representatives of international organizations, Juche idea study organizations and friendship and solidarity organizations during the mourning period.

At least 190 countries, the UN and other international organizations and even those countries which are hostile to the DPRK expressed profound condolences over his demise. Condolatory visits of party, state and government heads, hoisting of flags at half mast and other events took place solemnly.

In China alone senior officials and officials of party, state and army of more than 2 000 units and people from all walks of life paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy and consulate general.

At least 10 000 media of more than 150 countries and regions in the world carried special write-ups every day over his demise with flash news hour by hour, breaking the precedent in reporting about the events of mourning the death of foreign heads of state.

Foreign media gave wide publicity to his brief biography and greatness with portraits of smiling Kim Jong Il and portraits of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, the building of a thriving socialist nation, the DPRK which suffered the great loss and news of mourning events in many countries of the world.
