DPRK to Attend Taekwon-Do Championships

| Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is planning to attend the 6th Asian Taekwon-Do Championship due in April in Tajikistan and the 10th World Juvenile Taekwon-Do Championship and the 5th World Veteran Taekwon-Do Championship in August in Estonia. Players and coaches of the DPRK team are now busy with training. Hwang Yong Mi, deputy head of the National Taekwon-Do Team, told KCNA that most of the appointees lack experience in international tournaments. The DPRK won lots of gold medals in preceding Asian Taekwon-Do Championships and World Juvenile Taekwon-Do Championships. |
