Russian Political Party, Nepali Organizations Concerned over Worsening Situation in Korea
Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- A Russian political party and Nepali organizations made public statements on March 12 as regards the worsening situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The Executive Committee of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia in its statement said the U.S. and south Korean authorities have perpetrated ceaseless large-scale military provocations which may threaten the very existence of the world despite of the DPRK's various peace initiatives including the issue of denuclearizing the peninsula.

The U.S. and its stooges' anti-DPRK provocations can never be tolerated, it said, calling upon the UN and world progressives to support the constructive proposals of the DPRK for protecting its sovereignty and defending peace in the region.

The Nepali Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea, the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee of Nepal and the Nepali Association for Supporting the Songun Politics in a joint statement expressed serious concern over the situation in the peninsula reaching the brink of war due to the U.S. and south Korean warlike forces' large joint military exercises for invading the DPRK.

The statement urged the U.S. and south Korean authorities to stop at once the joint military exercises and solve the pending problems of the peninsula by peaceful means.
