Koreans Sure of Success in Upcoming Satellite Launch
Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- People in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, pleased at the news of upcoming launch of Kwangmyongsong-3, an earth observation satellite, have no doubt of success in its launch.

A teacher of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, Kim Sun Hui, told KCNA:

"There is no doubt that the forthcoming satellite launch will be successful as it was manufactured entirely with domestic technology.

The previous successful launch of two experimental satellites had led to solid material and technological foundations for the upcoming launch and its normal operation."

An official of the Ministry of Light Industry, Jong Man Ho, said:

"The announcement on the upcoming satellite launch reminds me of the home-made Kwangmyongsong-1 and 2, that were launched with success in August Juche 87 (1998) and April 2009.

I feel pride in our country manufacturing and launching satellites with its own effort and technology."

Pak Jin Myong, an official of the Ministry of Land and Environmental Conservation, said:

"The DPRK succeeded in launching satellites in the past in face of the anti-DPRK moves of the imperialists and their followers. I am sure that the upcoming launch, too, will be successful."
