Resignation of Managers of Ultra-right Conservative Media Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The Media Trade Union of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on Mar. 12 at which it demanded the resignation of the managers of the ultra-right conservative media appointed by traitor Lee Myung Bak.

Speakers at the conference roundly exposed how Kim Jae Chol held the post of the manager of MBC according to the personnel measure of the Lee Myung Bak "government".

Under the present "government" the MBC has been reduced to MB (Myung Bak) broadcasting service, they deplored, adding there was no such brazen-faced action to put media under control even in the past period of the military dictatorial regime.

They urged the Lee Myung Bak "government" to open to the public how it cracked down upon media, though belatedly, and make those who had been appointed to the posts of managers by arbitrary and high-handed actions step down at once.

They voiced support for the general strike of KBS, MBC and YTN trade unions for media impartiality.

They declared they would surely judge the present regime in the April general election.
