Minju Joson Dismisses Remarks of U.S. Military Warmonger as Sheer Sophism
Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- On February 28 Robert Willard, the then commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Forces in the Pacific, in his written speech presented to the Congress described the DPRK as "forces of threat". He claimed the DPRK's development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles makes it more urgent for the U.S. to establish a ballistic missile defence system and that the DPRK is threatening not only the U.S. and its allies but peace and security in Northeast Asia.

Minju Joson observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

It is the trigger-happy forces of the U.S. military that have perpetrated acts of threatening peace and security in Northeast Asia and are working hard to justify those acts by labeling the DPRK as "forces of threat."

As clearly evidenced by the north-targeted joint military exercises going on in south Korea, it is none other than the U.S. which is the arch criminal posing a threat to peace and security in Northeast Asia.

The U.S. talk about "threat" from the DPRK is nothing but sheer sophism as it reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!"

The U.S. is busy implementing its Asia-Pacific strategy for aggression. It is the strategic goal of the U.S. to put the whole of the Korean Peninsula under its control with south Korea as its base and, furthermore, establish its military domination over Northeast Asia and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region.

The U.S. policy of permanent occupation of south Korea and its moves for a war of aggression are strongly protested at home and abroad. It is now keen to find pretexts for escaping this criticism and reinforcing its military presence in south Korea and military domination over Northeast Asia.

The U.S. had better feel its responsibility as a harasser of peace and security in Northeast Asia and behave itself.
