The group of traitors that insulted the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK is setting in motion vicious conservative media for an anti-DPRK smear campaign, claiming its will to make retaliation was "defamatory propaganda preempted by the north." It is also working hard to mislead public opinion by describing it as "a campaign for consolidating the system," a campaign for "scuttling general election" and "tactics for engaging the U.S. and blocking the south."

The hearts of all the journalists and other media persons throughout the country are now burning with hatred at the renewed provocations of the group of traitors and their determination is running high.

It is something unprecedented in history that the hordes of such brutes let loose a whole string of invectives and committed evils against the noble image of the father of the nation and against all the mourners, not content with their acts of rubbing salt into the wounds of the compatriots grieving over the big loss to the nation.

The gravity and seriousness of the situation lie in that these hideous acts against ethics are being openly committed without let-up under the name of media.

Such unethical acts are something unimaginable as they could be committed only by those media which have abandoned their mission and duty as a spokesman of justice and truth and genuine leader of public opinion and are bereft of their reason.

Media persons who should have contributed to the unity of the compatriots and reunification are now speaking for the confrontation fanatics after being bribed by a handful of traitors including Lee Myung Bak. All Korean media persons in whose veins runs the blood of the nation can never remain a passive onlooker to the present situation.

That is why we, journalists and other media persons are visiting every part of the country to cover the revenge-seekers, considering pens and mikes of revolution as arms to wipe out enemies. As a result, the resentment of all service persons and people are running high across the country.

We sympathize with the members of the trade unions of media organizations in their mass actions to boycott listening to reptile media and the production of broadcasting programs now under way every day and campaigns for ousting vicious stooges including the present chairmen of broadcasting services.

The Central Committee of the KJU bitterly condemns the smear campaign of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors and reptile media as the most monstrous unethical crimes which can be committed only by animals in human skin and the most hideous barbarous acts of lacerating Koreans and bringing the bitterest disgrace to the history of the nation spanning five thousand years and the human history.

Our sacred all-people war of retaliation has already started to sweep away the hordes of traitors more dead than alive from the arena of history.
