Koreans Increase Production in Full Combat Readiness
Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The working people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are increasing production in full combat readiness to turn out in the sacred war for wiping out the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

Various sectors of the national economy are effecting fresh innovation in the production and construction.

The February 8 Vinalon Complex made a breakthrough to holding a trial operation of airtight carbide furnace more than ten days ahead of schedule, while the Tongbong Co-op Farm of Hamju County, South Hamgyong Province transported 140-odd tons of manure to fields overnight.

The Kowon Coal Mine more than doubled the production.

The miners of the Jaeryong and Unryul coal mines of South Hwanghae Province have fulfilled their daily iron ore production plans over 150 percent. Industrial establishments and co-op farms of the province are making great innovation in the production of consumer goods and in farm preparation.

The dike construction is being pressed ahead at the Ryongmaedo tideland reclamation site.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is spurring the drive to put the production of heavy rails on a normal basis.

The coal mines of South Phyongan Province are over-fulfilling their daily tunneling assignments.
