Pyongyang Citizens Vow to Wage War of Retaliation
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang citizens are now trembling with towering anger at the south Korean regime's recent provocation against the DPRK.

"Nobody will be tolerated to hurt the dignity of our supreme leadership. Let's wipe out the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors."

Such angry shouts are heard in every part of the city. Loudspeaker cars in streets steadily are militant songs and indignation statements.

Many citizens including youth and students are volunteering to join or rejoin the army.

According to an officer in charge of recruitment, the recruiting agency has been deluged with an increasing number of volunteers from Friday afternoon after a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army made public a statement to hit at the Lee group of traitors' provocation.

Among them was a whole family willing to take part in the retaliatory war holding arms.

Kang Won Gil, a resident in Pothonggang District who came to the agency together with his two sons and daughters-in-law, told KCNA:

"Speaking cannot be communicated to Lee Myung Bak regime that has become a mad dog. We, all family will take part in the war of justice, holding arms to defend the headquarters of the revolution."

Ro Ju Dok, a resident in Sosong District, Pyongyang, said:

"To fight in defence of the dignity of the country and the nation is duty of citizens." He petitioned to be allowed to rejoin the army.

Yun Ok Myong, a worker of the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory in Pyongyang, told KCNA that she, unable to repress surging anger, rushed there with her husband after leaving her young daughter to mother.

"We will wear revolutionary uniforms and take revenge upon the group of hooligans who hurt the dignity of our supreme leadership," she said.
