More Youths Volunteer for Military Service in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- The number of the young people volunteering to join or rejoin the Korean People's Army is rapidly increasing in the capital city of Pyongyang after a spokesman for the KPA Supreme Command announced a statement over the south Korean regime's hideous provocation to the DPRK.

On March 3 alone, more than 200,000 youths at industrial establishments petitioned to join or rejoin the army. They include young workers of Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, Pyongyang Hosiery Factory, Rangnang Disabled Soldiers' Plastic Daily Necessities Factory and Tudan Duck Farm.

Ri Kun Chol, first secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, told KCNA:

"It is time to go over into action now that the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, human dregs, again hurt the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership.

Upon hearing the statement young people in the city are vying with each other to volunteer for military service. The volunteers grow more and more in number with passage of time. Once the respected Supreme Commander gives us an order for action, we will destroy the Lee group at once."
