He noted that the situation in and around the Korean Peninsula is getting extremely tense due to the provocative Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises of the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers.

　He went on:

The large-scale war exercises kicked off during the mourning period in the DPRK are an insult to the noble national feelings of the Korean people as well as a grave threat to the peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity and the rest of the world.

The U.S. seeks to stifle the DPRK by force and, at the same time, realize its wild ambition for world supremacy through military siege and containment of its surrounding countries.

The U.S. should be mindful that no force on earth can match the unity of the Korean service persons and people rallied in one mind around Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader, and immediately put an immediate halt to the war gambling. The south Korean authorities should stop serving it.

The IIJI fully supports the just stand of the DPRK laid down in the statements of the spokespersons for the DPRK NDC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Juche idea followers all over the world.
