Title of Hero Awarded to Farmer

| Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The title of DPRK Hero was awarded to Ri Chang Son, former head of sub-workteam No. 4 of Workteam No. 9 of Ohyon Co-op Farm in Yonan County, South Hwanghae Province. He was also honored with a gold star medal and Order of National Flag First Class. He dedicated his life to saving other farmers from a massive clod of earth that collapsed in the middle of work. He sincerely worked with the sole desire of contributing to building a thriving nation with increased grain production. A decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly on awarding the title was made public Saturday. |
