Social Reforms Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions in a press conference on Wednesday called for fundamental changes of the society.

The organization submits to the political camp a draft request for social reforms to ensure the right to existence of the working people who make up the overwhelming majority of the population with the upcoming "parliamentary" and "presidential" elections as occasions, it said.

It also underlined the urgent need to abolish part-time jobs, guarantee the rights of full-time workers, increase the wage, end the layoff, stabilize the employment and stop the crackdown on trade unions.
