Alert in Eastern Indian State Bihar on Avian Influenza

| New Delhi, March 1 (KCNA) -- The eastern Indian state Bihar has sounded an alert against possible spread of avian influenza after a large number of crows died in the state from bird flu, officials said Monday. Hundreds of crows have died in Bihar in the last one and a half months, said the Health Ministry. Urgent measures were taken to prevent the spread of the disease. |
