In the upper part the silk banner has the sun embroidered with golden thread on a red ground. Seen in its center are the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang and Spanish letters reading "Congratulations to the great President Kim Il Sung on his 80th birthday".

Inscribed in the silver tray are words "Present to the great leader President Kim Il Sung on his 80th birthday by the Peruvian Celebration Preparatory Committee on April 15, 1992".

The pamphlets, written by the chairman, are titled "Meeting with the Great Sun of Humankind", "Kim Il Sung, Iron-willed Commander", "Korean- style Socialism" and "Golden Fruits". They deal with great exploits of the President.

The gifts reflect the chairman's admiration for the exploits the President performed for the independence of humankind.
