Finnish Personage Denounces U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, made public a statement on Feb. 24 in denunciation of the U.S.-S. Korea joint military drills.

He noted that the U.S. and the conservative "government" of south Korea are staging ceaseless joint military drills against the DPRK in the Korean Peninsula, adding: The Finland-Korea Society expresses concern over the fact that the provocative military exercises of the U.S. and south Korea will disturb peace and stability in Asia and more adversely affect the efforts for the reunification of Korea and, therefore, bitterly denounces it.

The ongoing saber-rattling is an undisguised military provocation to increase the military pressure upon the DPRK and stifle it.

The U.S. should stop the war drills against the DPRK and the acts of egging south Korea onto anti-DPRK campaign but pull its forces out of south Korea as soon as possible and take practical measures for ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Korea should be reunified in accordance with the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo put forward by President Kim Il Sung.

We will always stand by the Korean people and express invariable support and solidarity with their cause of peace and independent reunification.
