The Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea carried explanatory notes with photos on the themes of "Birth of Shining Star of Mt. Paektu", "Great inheritance", "Genius of creation and construction", "Peerlessly Songun brilliant commander", "Benevolent father" and "Lodestar of national reunification" under the bannerline title "Whole life of leader Kim Jong Il seen through photos".

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il will always be alive" praised the feats he performed by defending socialism and ushering in a new era of building a thriving nation under the uplifted banner of Songun.

It gave a detailed account of the fact that he opened a bright prospect for national reunification and dynamically promoted global independence.

Noting that he was the tender-hearted father of the people, the article stressed history has never known such great man who devoted all his life to the people as him.

He will always be alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind, it concluded.
