Rodong Sinmun Assails S. Korean Unification Minister’s Outbursts
Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- Ryu U Ik, minister of Unification of south Korea, was recently reported to have absurdly grumbled that "it was mud-slinging," "it was not helpful" and "it was a violation". He went so foolish as to assert that the north refused to respond to the south side's proposal and "it was pity and regrettable".

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: These are shameless remarks to shift the blame for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations upon the north and a crafty artifice to justify their policy of confrontation and true colors as anti-reunification elements.

With neither double-dealing tactics nor jugglery can the south Korean authorities cover their despicable true colors as saboteur of inter-Korean dialogue and disturber of humanitarian undertakings, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Resentment is mounting among south Koreans from all walks of life against the conservative group who drove the north-south relations into catastrophe and escalated the confrontation.

Much upset by this, the Lee Myung Bak group pretends to be interested in the improved inter-Korean relations, while finding fault with the DPRK. This is nothing but a desperate bid to cover up their true colors as confrontation maniacs.

This is, however, futile last-ditch effort. The fate of the group is so miserable that it has already been put on the downhill due to the failure of its confrontation policy.

The south Korean authorities have committed too many crimes to save themselves from the fate already sealed with any rhetoric.
