Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Choe Yong Rim on Friday learned about the work at the Anju Area Coal Mining Complex.

The officials and coal miners of the complex are registering signal successes every day in the drive for securing mining conditions with the firm determination to mark the centenary of birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the historic conference of the Workers' Party of Korea with a high degree of political enthusiasm and shining labor achievements.

He looked round various places of the complex to acquaint himself in detail with the coal production and operation of equipment.

Then he held a consultative meeting of officials concerned.

The meeting reviewed the implementation of instructions given by leader Kim Jong Il during his field guidance and underscored the important role of the complex in economic construction.

It also took measures for supplying electricity on a regular basis and increasing the number of freight cars necessary for transporting prop timbers. It, at the same time, underscored the need for the relevant units to bring the command over production closer to the spot and ensure full operation of mining equipment.

Concluding the meeting, the premier underlined the need for all officials to pay deep attention to the living of the coal miners.
