Messages from Indian and Nepali Party Leaders
Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Feb. 13 received messages from Prakash Karat, general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of India (Marxist), and Jalanath Kanal, chairman of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist), on the occasion of the 70th birth anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il.

The messages said that Kim Jong Il was a prominent statesman who developed the DPRK and defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

They expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve great success in building a thriving socialist nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
