S. Korean Police Arrest Protesters against Construction of Naval Base

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet police walked off Rev. Mun Jong Hyon and other 13 persons during its rude crackdown on those who took part in a demo against the construction of naval base on Jeju Island, according to CBS on Saturday. The demonstrators, consisting of members of various organizations, put up placards outside the construction site to demand the halt to construction. Enraged at the police's crackdown, they blocked the police truck carrying the arrested persons and stubbornly battled for hours. |
