Music and Dance Performance Given by Koreans in Japan
Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- A music and dance performance was given by students of Joson University in Tokyo on Feb. 15 to commemorate the 70th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Put on the stage which began with chorus "Song of General Kim Jong Il", revolutionary paean, were chorus "Where Are You, Dear General?", masterpiece, female vocal solo "Cantata to General Kim Jong Il", female duet "Our Father", jangsaenap solo "Arirang of Prosperity", dance "Seed-We Will Make Flower Garden of National Education" and other numbers.

The performers praised the feats of Kim Jong Il who protected and glorified the destiny of the officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan and led the movement of Koreans in Japan to the road of victory and glory.

They sang of the great pride and honor of having the dear respected Kim Jong Un in the van of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the movement of Koreans in Japan.

Among the audience were Nam Sung U and Ko Tok U, vice-chairmen of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman and concurrently director general of the General Affairs Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, and other officials and compatriots.

All the performers and audiences are full of a firm resolution to provide a springboard for a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.
