Lee Myung Bak Group More Dead than Alive
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- As already known, there broke out in south Korea at the outset of the year a scandal in which a pro-Lee Myung Bak candidate for the chief of the "Grand National Party" distributed enveloped money among lawmakers from the same party during its congress in 2008.

Pak Hui Thae, speaker of the puppet National Assembly, was forced to resign on Feb. 9 for being one of the "Six Men's Association" chiefly to blame for this scam.

The association is an unofficial highest decision-making body formed inside the GNP for the election of Lee during the puppet presidential elections in 2007.

The disclosure of this case compelled those who rode roughshod, backed by the traitor, to step down and quit political camp one after another for their involvement in a variety of scandals.

Choe Si Jung who took the lead in the moves to put media under the control of the conservative group resigned as chairman of the Broadcasting and News Agency Committee on Jan. 27.

Ri Sang Duk, Lee's elder brother, who styled himself "senior king" is likely to be questioned by prosecution sooner or later for his involvement in scandals now being disclosed in an unbroken chain.

The influence of Ri Jae O fell to the ground though he held the post of the specially appointed minister, acting No. two man in the present "government." It was not only members of the above-said association that met such miserable ends.

In the wake of resignation of chief secretary for publicity of Chongwadae, deputy minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, etc. Kim Hyo Jae, chief secretary for political affairs of Chongwadae, one of the core staff members, resigned, held accountable for the above-said scandal on February 11.

Lee is now more dead than alive as he has lost hands and legs with the ruin of his confidants.

Political experts and media of south Korea had this to say: "Lee Myung Bak is now without his hands and legs. The real forces that backed his regime have collapsed. He is becoming isolated step by step. The collapse of the Six Men's Association will deepen the power crisis in the closing period of Lee's rule."

It is long since the public in the south turned its back on the traitor. There is no room for him to stay in his own camp.

With the "revamping wind" rising within the ruling party, the pro-Lee camp is now on the passive and the public is getting increasingly assertive demanding his withdrawal from the party.
