Present there were Vishwanath, director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, and the director general and directors of the ARIJI.

The meeting reviewed the Board's work of two years and discussed such matters as ensuring successful holding of the World Conference on the Juche Idea on the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and further enhancing the function and role of ARIJI and bringing a turn in study and dissemination of the Juche idea.

Harish Gupta was elected director general of the ARIJI at the meeting. It also selected deputy director general and directors of the board of the institute.
