Letters Carved on Rocks in DPRK Praise Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Letters "Peerless Patriot General Kim Jong Il" were carved on a rock in Mt. Sokda, Jungsan County on the significant Day of the Shining Star.

The letters carved by DPRK servicepersons and people in all annals lauding Kim Jong Il's greatness show their iron will to hold him in high esteem forever and hand down his revolutionary feats for all ages.

During the great anti-Japanese war, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters carved on trees such letters as "heir to General Kim Il Sung", "son of 20 million", "Paektu star" and "The Shining Star, symbol of future" reminding the readers of the personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man born of heaven.

Letters "Jong Il Peak" were carved on the peak on Mt. Paektu in Nov. 1988 while "Honor of Korea and Pride of Nation Kim Jong Il" and "lodestar of Juche Kim Jong Il" on Oson Peak of Inner Kumgang and Mangsu Peak of outer-Kumgang of Mt. Kumgang on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Letters carved on a rock of Ryanggak Peak of Mt. Kuwol in Dec. 1998 spelled out "Sun of 21st century General Kim Jong Il".

Rocks in Mts. Myohyang and Chilbo and Phyongji-ri of Maengsan County and Pansok-ri of Cholwon County bear letters reading "Iron-willed commander Kim Jong Il", "Illustrious commander General Kim Jong Il", "Legendary hero General Kim Jong Il", "Peerlessly illustrious commander General Kim Jong Il".

Korean people carved letters "Illustrious commander General Kim Jong Il" and "Long live Great Songun Politics!" in the rocks of Pari Peak in the area of Sujong Peak of Mt. Kumgang and Mae Peak of Mt. Suyang in Haeju city reflecting the DPRK army and people's loyalty to him.

The immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Jong Il" carved in a rock of Tokgol in Mt. Chilbo or Mt. Kumgang of North Hamgyong Province, hands down his feats for all ages.
