Present there were Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, Kim Cha Dol, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, officials of its Central Standing Committee and officials of the youth league in the Kanto area and of central organization and enterprises.

The participants laid a floral basket before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and made a bow.

A letter of pledge, which was read out at the meeting, said that they will bear deep in mind the faith that they are sure to win despite any violent storm as led by Kim Jong Un and stoutly prepare the youth league to be the rank remaining boundlessly loyal to his idea and leadership.

Meanwhile, an art performance "Cause of the Sun Shining Forever" was given by students of Joson University on the same day on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il.
