DPRK Ambassador Meets Cambodian PM
Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- Hong Ki Chol, DPRK ambassador to Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on Hun Sen, prime minister of Cambodia, on Feb. 3.

At the meeting Hun Sen again expressed most profound condolences to the Korean people over the passing of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Noting that this year the Korean people mark the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the 70th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il, he said:

I am sure that the fraternal Korean people will overcome sorrow over the demise of Kim Jong Il with strength and courage and achieve greater success in the building of a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, supreme leader, this significant year.

The friendly relations between the two countries are traditional ones provided by Kim Il Sung and Great King Norodom Sihanouk.

It is a bounden duty for our younger generation to steadily boost these relations.

It is the hope of Cambodia that Korea would be reunified as soon as possible and the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation will continue to develop favorably.
